SBCC’s mission is to connect the DoW with the best emerging capabilities to support warfighter’s needs. This means not only scouting and evaluating solutions but also enabling companies to perform at their best.  

The SBCC Vendor Referral Network is a curated set of third-party providers selected for their expertise in helping our network companies grow. When a company in our ecosystem needs support, SBCC can make the right introduction to a vetted provider. 

This network is not about volume; it is about fit, trust, and long-term outcomes.  

Guardrails Preventing Conflicts of Interest 

Maintaining SBCC’s objectivity from the perspective of the US Government is paramount. 

  • Independence: For clarity, SBCC does not take money from any network companies. Compensation flows solely from vendors to SBCC (either as revenue, service credits, or discounts to network companies) through referral agreements. 

  • Objectivity: Referrals are a support mechanism available to any company in our network, regardless of whether we are considering them for open DoW needs. SBCC continues to evaluate all technologies and services objectively and in a separate workstream, regardless of vendor participation.
