Josh Hoffman
Josh Hoffman is the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) for the Small Business Consulting Corporation (SBCC). In this role, he leads a growing team of 16 project managers, along with guiding an Integrated Product Team of more than a dozen cross-functional experts across technology scouting, acquisitions, procurement, and business operations. He oversees SBCC’s full project management ecosystem supporting Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Installation and Mission Support Center (IMSC), and other Department of the Air Force stakeholders, driving disciplined execution, strategic alignment, and scalable processes across the company’s government and commercial portfolios.
Josh’s portfolio spans customer requirement curation, requirements management, SBIR/TACFI/STRATFI program oversight, commercial market research, rapid prototyping and fielding, enterprise training development, and transition pathways into Programs of Record. He also leads PMO strategic planning, ISO 9001-aligned process improvement, and workforce development initiatives that shape SBCC’s long-term capability and operational performance.
Josh served over 20 years on active duty in the United States Air Force, with assignments as a KC-135R Flying Crew Chief, B-52H Section Chief, Inspector General Superintendent, Group Senior Enlisted Leader, and founder of the Barksdale Innovation Group. His operational experience includes 12 deployments supporting Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM, Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa, and a wide range of global contingency and exercise operations.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern College and a master’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University. A proud father of two daughters, Josh enjoys getting outdoors, running, and supporting his daughters' soccer journey.
