Innovative Small Business Asylon Robotics Advances Air Force Aircraft Inspection Modernization at WR-ALC

Asylon Robotics is partnering with Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex under a $2.34 million SBIR Phase III contract to advance MARIA, an autonomous aircraft inspection system that combines drones, ground robots, and data analytics. The effort aims to make Air Force General Visual Inspections faster, safer, and more consistent by reducing manual data collection and limiting maintainer exposure to hazardous conditions. Supported by SBCC, the initiative shows how small businesses can transition innovative commercial technologies into operational sustainment capabilities that improve readiness across the Air Force.
