Shreveport, LA — Following five years of significant growth and mission expansion, SBCC is evolving its leadership roles to support continued expansion while preserving the culture, agility, and mission focus that define the company.

Gerald Goodfellow will become the first Chairman of SBCC’s Board, remaining actively engaged in long-term strategy and key relationships. Eric Froehlich, former Chief Growth Officer, has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer effective March 1, 2026.

“I'm convinced that companies deserve a leader with a growth mentality at the top, and Eric brings exactly that,” said Goodfellow.

Goodfellow, who founded SBCC in 2021 alongside Froehich, emphasized that this evolution reflects alignment of leadership strengths with the company’s continued trajectory. “I’m going to stay involved, but I’m focusing my energy where it creates the greatest impact for SBCC — and I believe that’s as Chairman of the Board.”

Froehlich reaffirmed that SBCC’s “North Star” remains unchanged: tackling the toughest national security challenges, developing meaningful solutions, and equipping leaders with the tools and skills to succeed. He underscored the importance of preserving the culture that has fueled SBCC’s growth.

“What we’ve built at SBCC is special,” Froehlich said. “It feels like a team — a group of wingmen — part of something bigger than themselves. As we grow, protecting that chemistry is critical.”

As CEO, Froehlich will focus on operational execution, strategic growth, and strengthening long-term partnerships while maintaining the fast, flat, and mission-driven culture that defines SBCC.

“It’s humbling to be asked to lead this company,” Froehlich added. “SBCC has always been a learning organization. I look forward to building on that foundation — working closely with our teams, engaging customers, and delivering meaningful impact.”

This leadership evolution reflects continuity and a shared commitment to advancing SBCC’s mission at scale.

Executive Leadership Expansion

In addition to the CEO alignment, SBCC announced two key executive appointments that further strengthen the company’s leadership team.

Shaun Morris will assume the role of Chief Growth Officer. Morris brings deep experience in strategic expansion and customer engagement and has been instrumental in advancing SBCC’s growth initiatives. In his new role, he will lead the company’s business development strategy, market expansion efforts, and long-term partnership development.

Stephen Goodfellow has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Goodfellow has played a significant role in SBCC’s financial stewardship and operational scalability, helping guide the company through rapid expansion over the past five years. As CFO, he will oversee financial strategy, fiscal discipline, and sustainable growth planning.

“These appointments reflect the strength of our leadership bench,” said Froehlich. “We have an exceptional team in place, and together we will continue building on the foundation that has made SBCC successful.”
