Garret Harencak

Major General (retired), United States Air Force

 

Major General (ret) Harencak retired from the United States Air Force after 39 years of service. His career culminated as the Commander, United States Air Force Recruiting Service. Major General (ret) Harencak was  commissioned after graduating from the USAF Academy in 1983. He commanded units at every level and served in staff positions at HQ USAF, Pentagon, and HQ US Central Command. He commanded a B-1 bomber wing, a B-2 bomber wing, and was the commander of the USAF Nuclear Weapons Center. As a command pilot, he flew over 4,200 hours in the T-37, T-38, B-52G, B-1B and B-2.


His education includes Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Science in Management and Communications, and a Master of Science degree in National Security. He also graduated from the numerous Department of Defense national security and leadership programs.

Major General (ret) Harencak is now Vice President of Strategic Defense Programs for Jacobs Engineering Group, a public speaker, and serves as Board Chairman of the Home Front Military Network.
