37 years service in the United States Air Force. Leadership at every level, from small 300-man units to a major command with 139,000 personnel. Organized and launched 25th Air Force, USAF’s 25,000-man cyber operations and security command. At JFCOM, responsible for developing DOD-wide connectivity and interoperability of C4ISR (command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems). Restored confidence in $67.3B F-22 Raptor program following grounding of the aircraft due to vexing malfunctions and accidents. The aircraft is now the US’s premier fighter aircraft. Led combat operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Horn of Africa. Personally amassed 4000+ hours of flying in multiple aircraft, including over 600 hours in combat.
