Our Program

The National Nuclear Strategy and Global Security Workshop for Practitioners is a prestigious, and internationally-renowned developmental program with specialized emphasis towards strategic thinking and nuclear-related foresight.In this program, competitively-selected students engage with national and international thought-leaders in robust discussions across facilitated lectures and apply lessons learned in a challenging two-day strategic forecasting table-top exercise. Hand-selected by the Command’s senior leadership, participants immerse themselves in the program so extensively that their individual and group contributions are evaluated as part of the 2022 Capstone Report delivered toAFGSC/CC and CV at the end of the year.

REQUIREMENTS:

Designated workspace (office, home office, or similar set-up) Desktop or laptop computer w/camera & microphone (DoD computer not recommended)High-Speed Internet access with bandwidth capabilities to support video and document multitasking (Zoom w/camera &mic, GoogleDocs real-time collaboration, etc.)Gmail Account (for access to course material and online collaborative tools)Ability to participate for the entire workshop (17-19 January2023: attendance must be uninterrupted and dedicated to this workshop as if physically TDY)Ability to conduct a fully-functioning “Tech Check” with SBCC personnel from the actual location students will be participating from and using all equipment planned for the workshop.
